Nova Research was established in 1994 to provide on-site research and development support services to the U.S. Government.

     Principally supporting the Department of Defense and its collaborative partnerships with other agencies and institutions, the Company has earned a reputation for technical excellence and commitment to customer service. For example, the firm was nominated by the U.S. Naval Research Laboratory (NRL) after only one year of on-site operations to be the Small Business Administration's Small Business Prime Contractor of the Year. This competitive national award program is given to small businesses who have consistently distinguished themselves with respect to providing superior products and services.

     Similarly, our scientific staff has earned numerous awards and accolades for their scientific accomplishments and service to our client base. Individual members of our scientific staff have been recognized for their technical achievements through receipt of the prestigious NRL Berman award, the highest honor awarded by NRL in basic and applied research. Members of our senior scientific staff serve on several editorial boards for refereed scientific journals and publications. Our staff author and co-author publications accepted to the most prestigious peer-reviewed journals in their field of study.

     Approximately 50% of Nova Research's staff possess Doctoral level degrees, and the majority of our personnel possess advanced degrees. Disciplines represented include: chemistry (organic, analytical, physical, electrochemistry), molecular biology, immunology, electrical and mechanical engineering, physics and mathematics.
