FROM THE BELTWAY COMING FROM MARYLAND ACROSS THE WOODROW WILSON BRIDGE:
Take the 1st exit after crossing the bridge, which is marked as the Mount Vernon Memorial Highway. The exit will loop around, and you should stay to the right. There will be a Mobil station on your right. At the light (the exit will intersect at a right angle to the Mount Vernon Memorial Highway), make a right turn, headed towards Mount Vernon. After traveling 6.8 miles, you will make a right turn on to Vernon View Drive. Vernon View Drive is the continuation of Fort Hunt Road as it approaches the Mount Vernon Memorial Highway. Travel 0.8 miles on Vernon View Drive (aka Fort Hunt Road after approximately 0.7 miles), and make a left turn on to Elkin Street. Turn right after 0.1 mile into the parking lot for the office building.

FROM THE BELTWAY COMING FROM FAIRFAX, OR TO USE THE ROUTE 1 SOUTH EXIT COMING FROM MARYLAND:
Take the Route 1 South exit from the Beltway. After crossing back over the Beltway, and prior to reaching the 1st light, a service road branches off of Route 1 South at an angle. You must use this service road to turn left on to Fort Hunt Road, which is the intersection at the 1st light. You cannot turn left on to Fort Hunt Road from Route 1 itself. Stay to the right as you cross over the Beltway, and take the service road on your immediate right. Stay to the left as you approach the 1st light on the service road. Turn left at the 1st light (you will be crossing Route 1 at a right angle) onto Fort Hunt Road. Stay on Fort Hunt Road for 5.0 miles, making a right turn on to Elkin Street. Turn right after 0.1 mile into the parking lot for the office building.

RETURNING TO THE BELTWAY:
There is no easy access to the Beltway from the Mount Vernon Memorial Highway. We therefore recommend the following. From the parking lot, turn left on to Elkin Street. At the stop sign, turn left on to Fort Hunt Road. Go 5.0 miles on Fort Hunt Road, to the intersection with Route 1. If traveling back to Maryland (via I95 North), you should be in the far right lane approaching the intersection. If traveling back to Fairfax (via I95 South), you should be in the middle lane. Turn right on to Route 1 North, and take the appropriate exit as marked.
